Introduction

I have worked as a family law paralegal in Florida for 8 years. We also do criminal defense in our firm, but I don't do much work in that area. I titled my blog Paralegal Family, because I come from a family of paralegals and I do family law work. My mother and my aunt were both paralegals, although, their work titles were always "legal secretary." Back in the day, they didn't call them paralegals. Despite their pleas to avoid the legal field, I became a paralegal. I'm stubborn that way.

On a personal note, I've been married for 12 years and have a 6 year old son. I also work part time as a Pilates instructor.

There aren't a lot of paralegal blogs out there. I hope to contribute something of value!
